Sidewalk Saturday has thrived as a vendor-ran market since 2020.  This season, with the feedback from our community, we’ve is expanding its team of volunteers to paid positions to help grow the market and assist with vendor outreach and communication.  We are currently hiring for the following positions:

Marketing Admin (Paid)

As Marketing Admin, you will be a key asset to growing our market footprint, marketing efforts, and on-site experience for vendors.  This is a part-time position that works directly with the market founder, and has potential to grow into a more prominent, full-time director role as the market grows.

Core Responsibilities:

>Market Promotion (handing out flyers, vendor outreach, building relationships with local businesses)
>Saturday morning set-up (putting out signage, setting up booth, checking in on vendors, being an enthusiastic advocate for vendors during market hours)
>Creating social content on behalf of Sidewalk Saturday and weekly vendors
This position is part-time with potential to grow as the market grows!  Anticipate approximately 10-15 hours per week, including market hours on Saturday.  Pay begins at $15/hour.

Vendor Liaison (Volunteer)

our Vendor Liaisons are volunteer positions exclusively for artisans who wish to have a more active role within the market space. You will be an ambassador for the market, leveraging your social media to promote, share your experience, and recruit new vendors.  You’ll also be a leader, supporting newer vendors with set up and being a resource and ally during the market.

Core Responsibilities:

>Must be available to attend at least 2 markets per month
>Commit to posting once per week about Sidewalk Saturday (grid)

>weekly stories promoting the market and new vendors

>In exchange for your time and energy, you will receive a discounted booth space + consistent placement at all markets in which you attend, valid for the entire 2024-2025 season.
